FALZ ANNOUNCES ‘BEFORE THE FEAST’ EP, COLLABORATION WITH SIMI


Falz, the Nigerian rapper, is set to release a new extended play (EP) titled ‘Before The Feast’.

The music star teased fans about the upcoming project via an Instagram post on Wednesday.

In the caption, the rapper revealed that the EP will be released on June 7.

“Before The Feast” 🍽️ June 7, 2024 Are you ready?” Falz wrote.

Falz and Simi also announced they would release a collaborative song on Friday.

Simi shared a picture of herself and the rapper seated together in what appeared to be a studio interview setting on Tuesday.

“What do you think is the name of the song we’re dropping this Friday?” the post reads.

It remains to be seen if the song is part of the rapper’s forthcoming EP.

‘Before The Feast’ comes on the back of the music star’s August 2023 release, ‘Operation Sweep,’ and the collaborative track ‘Ndi Ike‘ with Flavour and Odumodublvck.

Falz, whose music career began in 2009, has also established himself as an actor and an activist.

He gained fame with the song ‘Marry Me’, featuring Poe and Yemi Alade. His debut album, ‘Wazap Guy’, was released in 2014.

Over the years, Falz has released numerous hit singles, including ‘Bop Daddy,’ ‘Something Light’, ‘Karishika’, and ‘Soft Work’.

He is also known for his socially conscious songs such as ‘Wehdone Sir’, ‘Talk’, ‘Hypocrite’, and ‘Child Of The World’. He operates an independent record label called Bahd Guys Records.

Falz made his movie debut in ‘Couple of Days’ in 2016. He has won several awards for his talents in both music and acting.

In 2016, Falz won ‘Best Actor in a Comedy Movie/Series’ at the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards for his role as Segun in Funke Akindele’s TV series ‘Jenifa’s Diary’. He also won BET’s Best New International Act award the same year.
