VIDEO: PORTABLE ENGAGES IN STREET FIGHT IN LAGOS STATE OVER ‘STOLEN PHONE’

Portable, the controversial Nigerian singer, has been captured in a now-viral video engaging in a fierce street fight with another man in Lagos.

In the footage, the singer, clad in a yellow outfit, obstructed the movement of cars as he aggressively confronted the man in the middle of the street.

Despite attempts by onlookers to intervene, Portable, who recently returned from the United States after an international tour, raged forward towards his challenger, even pushing him to the ground at one point.

“He has wounded that boy. It is Portable you are in trouble. We will not allow you to go. They have wounded that guy. Your life will be a mess. Look at your celebrity. A dirty celebrity,” a man is heard in the video background airing his commentary on the altercation in Yoruba.

The man, who according to reports was later identified as a motorcyclist, was alleged to have stolen the singer’s phone, prompting the altercation.

Born Habeeb Okikiola, Portable gained fame in December 2021 with the release of ‘Zazoo Zeh’, his hit single featuring Olamide and Poco Lee.

Since then, he has always been in the public eye for controversial reasons.

In March, Portable got into a physical altercation with Kesari Okala, the content creator, at Computer Village in Lagos.

The singer was also arrested by the Lagos police for allegedly failing to pay the debt he incurred after purchasing his G-Wagon from a car dealer.

The ‘Zazoo Zeh’ hitmaker was said to have bought the vehicle worth N27 million but paid only N13 million.

Portable allegedly refused to pay the remaining N14 million and whenever the car dealer requested his money, he always claimed the vehicle was having issues.
