Nigerian singer Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has sparked reactions on social media after he told a female fan that he is married with children.
The incident occurred during the Grammy-winning artist’s ladies-only party in London on Tuesday.
A video from the event which went viral on Wednesday, showed Wizkid surrounded by a crowd of his female fans with one woman, in particular, appearing to get unusually close to the singer.
In the video, Wizkid paused from performing to politely tell the fan not to get too close, reminding her that he is a married man with kids.He said, “Baby I’m a married man, don’t come close to me, I’m married, my kids are at home.”
This, however, generated a buss on social media platforms as some felt his action was a snub.
