Famous Nigerian musician Adekunle Gold, who is married to singer Simi, turned to social media to praise Olamide for providing him with the chance to enter the music business.
Initially trained as a graphic designer, Adekunle Gold disclosed that he created the YBNL logo before joining the organization.
Adekunle Gold posted on the microblogging site X:
“Thank you @olamide for giving that young graphic designer the chance to not only design the YBNL logo but to be a part of your family.”
Olamide, touched by the gesture, responded with a warm message, saying: “Fam for life ️”
Adekunle Gold then turned to his official Instagram page, where he thanked his followers for appreciating his music eight years earlier and for transforming his life.
The father of one said he always knew he had a special gift and he wanted everyone to know it. He composed:
“All I had was a dream.
I knew I had a special gift and I said to myself, “the world must hear this, they must know my name, these stories I have to share must mean something to people, these songs must find a home in people’s hearts” 8 years ago, my life changed forever!
